Will You Be Standing in the Unemployment Line?

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Working from home has become a reality for many people due to the economy.

Unemployment lines are painfully long, and are only going to get longer. Workers that never dreamed their jobs would end now find themselves in that unemployment line.

The Labor Department’s report released on Thursday July 3, 2008  stated that in June alone, employers got rid of 62,000 jobs, bringing the total losses so far this year close to a staggering half-million jobs!  The economy needs to generate more than 100,000 new jobs a month for employment to remain stable.

We are living in hard times and job security is a thing of the past.

Are you prepared if you lost your job today?  What type of work could you do, if you could even find work?

How would you and your family survive?

Do you have skills you have acquired that could be put to use working from home?  Do you have a hobby you really enjoy that you could turn into a source of income for you and your family?

Everyday people just like you are finding work at home opportunities through the Internet.  If you do a search for “work at home” or “work at home opportunities” literally thousands of sites will come up. There is no excuse for not finding something that is suitable for you.

Many people begin part-time, as a way to supplement their incomes before they actually become unemployed.

This gives them a vast amount of knowledge and experience, which can help them earn more and more working from home. Some people find out they can actually earn more working from home than they do in their regular job!

There is always a risk in starting your own work at  home business. But aren’t you taking a much greater risk by not preparing for the uncertain future?

You should at least begin to think of  the work at home possibilities suitable for you now. Don’t wait until you are one of the statics.  We are not living in a time when we can rely on the job we have today to be there tomorrow.

If the state of the economy does not motivate you to start exploring the possibilities of working from home, nothing will!

Is Your Business a Success?

How do you rate your on line business?

Are you a success? How does your business stack up against others?  Are you one of the elite that stands head and shoulders above the rest?  Do you fall somewhere in the middle?  Or, say it ain’t so, your web site is struggling with the lowly ones, barely making a profit.

Maybe we should consider “How do you measure success?”

When we first started our site  Work-at-home-4-freedom, if we had one sale a day, we shouted from the roof tops!  Today, we are disappointed if we aren’t receiving multiple upon multiple sales, with more and more profit.

Now, don’t get me wrong.  There is nothing bad about wanting to profit, but that in itself does not make you a success. To be a success, you must think about your fellow man.

Has your web site made life a little easier for a person today?  Then you are a success.

Have you given hope to someone that is struggling to make ends meet?  Then you are a success.

Maybe you have provided someone the opportunity to turn their life around by making a few extra dollars.  Then you are a success.

Have you had the opportunity to help someone else build their business?  Then you are a success.

I would like to think that all of us can look at our on line business and truthfully say “I am successful!”

To Your Success!

Until Next Time
