Are You a Success

Do you think of yourself as a success? Or maybe I should ask "How do you measure success?"

Do you think only of your financial situation when the term "success" comes to mind?
I believe this has been pounded into or brains for so many years that we believe the terms "money" and "success" are synonyms.

Not true!

Did you spend quality time with your family today? If so, you are a success.

Did your spouse know you cared and were there for her/him? Are you dedicated to your mate? Then you are a success.

Did your children enjoy the pleasure of your company?
Children are being ignored by their parents, therefore, not receiving the support and nuture they need. It takes a very special person to be totally responsible for a young life. This makes you a success.

Did you make anyone smile today? Someone's outlook could be changed by the response you give to them. You never know what is going on in other's lives. Sometimes a kind word is all a person needs to turn their day around. Bingo-you are a success.

Did you help anyone today? No matter how small a deed seems to us, another could feel you have removed the weight of the world from their shoulders. You are a success.

Success has nothing to do with money. Success, in my opinion, can be summed up by some words I read that starts "Be yea kind.........."

Go be a success.
